On March 21, the 14.0.0 update arrived at the Switch, which allows us to create folders for the games. Now, a new version of the firmware has recently arrived, where a small novelty is introduced that will surely be to the liking of the users of this console.
Update 14.1.0 is now available for the Switch. Usually, these numbers are focused on offering some kind of stability for the system. However, this time we see the opportunity to activate a notification that lets us know if we have platinum points from the My Nintendo account that haven’t been used in a while.
If this is something you are not interested in, you also have the opportunity to simply turn off these notifications from the settings section in your console. As if that were not enough, new missions and rewards have been added for the Switch Online, although this element is not available in all regions.
On related topics, this is what the hotel of the old Nintendo facilities looks like. Similarly, children could sue this company for the drift of the Joy-Con.
Editor’s note:
It’s good to see that not all minor updates of this type are just focused on improving the performance of a console. While these notifications are insignificant, it does mean that Nintendo is still working to expand the Switch experience in every way.
