Avalanche Software first revealed Hogwarts Legacy in 2020, and ever since, fans of the Harry Potter series have looked forward to exploring the school of witchcraft and wizardry on modern consoles. Now, Hogwarts Legacy has revealed the latest snippet of the school of magic that has been highlighted before the game’s launch in a clip showing off the North Tower.
The recent teaser of Hogwarts Legacy Avalanche Software’s main focus is on the influence of the centaur in the art design of the North Tower, with multiple sculptures and tapestries reflecting the magical beast that appears in various films. The last Harry Potter games to hit the market were the Wizards Unite and Hogwarts Mystery mobile games, which use the mobile interface to create unique experiences for fans of the franchise.
The last Harry Potter console games to be released ended up on the seventh generation of consoles, leaving an entire generation currently empty of Potter-related games.
The North Tower of Hogwarts Legacy it is also known as the tower of Divination and its video begins by showing a centaur sculpture standing on a pedestal a few meters in front of a green vase and holding a bow arrow in an action pose.
The green color of the vase is further reflected as the camera cuts to a large tapestry showing another centaur equipped with a bow walking through a thick green forest that has light brown and gold accents that contrast with the darkness of the forest.
Showing several chandeliers to focus on another centaur statue from Hogwarts Legacy raising its paws in front of another painting, another tapestry shows the forest from a different angle, and includes lots of blues coming together to form a river.
The long period of time between the last Harry Potter game and Hogwarts Legacy may be one of the reasons many fans took to the North Tower clip to express their excitement and demand for the new game.
While some Harry Potter fans have stated that they’re looking forward to the Hogwarts student experience in Hogwarts Legacy, others will delight in the exploration aspect of the game, according to Avalanche Software’s response.
