    the billionaire Yusaku Maezawa He announced the eight people who will travel with him to the Moon for free. These tickets will be completely free on a SpaceX Starship, Elon Musk’s aerospace company.

    The Japanese businessman bought all the seats on a rocket in 2018 to take talented people to see the Moon up close. To fill the spots, Maezawa announced in March a contest to make up the crew for the project he called dearMoon.

    More than a million people applied to be part of the crew of the lunar mission, according to DW reports. Maezawa hopes that this experience will serve its members to enhance their creative abilities.

    Who will go to the Moon with Yusaku Maezawa?

    The space tourists that will accompany the Japanese businessman will be:

    • Steve Aoki – American DJ
    • Tim Dodd – YouTube star
    • Yemi Akinyemi Dele – Czech choreographer
    • Rhiannon Adam – Irish photographer
    • Karim Iliya – British photographer
    • Brandon Hall – American film director
    • Dev Joshi – Indian actor
    • Choi Seung-hyun – K-Pop singer (TOP)
    • Miyu – Japanese dancer
    • Kaitlyn Farrington – American ‘snowboarder’

    The chosen ones were interviewed on the YouTube channel of the dearMoon project.

    “I have always fantasized about space and the Moon, since I was young,” said K-Pop idol Choi Seung-hyun. “When they told me that they had chosen me as a crew, I was very happy.”

    The mission is scheduled for 2023 and will last one week.
