1 – Continuously improve
You must continually improve and learn from others.
2 – Be humble
The fact that you are younger than the others implies that you must learn, listen and reinforce your knowledge. Don’t assume that what you studied in college will be valid for your entire working life.
3 – Manage your energy
Sometimes we have great illusions of doing things and emotions can betray us, so I suggest you avoid reprocessing, ask before doing things, don’t go to work as a packer.
4 – Question
Do not let your ego win, you may have an idea of how things are done, but each person, company and boss have their own style. You may do a format empirically, but it is likely that the company where you work has a controlled format.
5 – Respect
Perhaps you have a personality that makes people uncomfortable with your sarcastic jokes, keep in mind that you work in a professional environment and you must rise to the occasion.
6 – Be responsible
Now you must demonstrate your knowledge, but also adapt to organizational rules, ask for delivery dates of requirements and make sure you have understood the indications.
7 – Self-evaluate your performance
The company will evaluate your performance, but you also reflect on your areas of opportunity to have a better job performance. You can pursue a career in a company or have professional experience, within your professional career. Anyway, you must leave a positive mark, you never know when you will meet people again
8 – Take care of the quality of your work
The fact that you do not have a position as an employee in a company should not be an excuse for poor job performance. Perhaps your first work experience will open future work doors for you.
9 – Positive attitude
Your performance evaluation will be objective and professional, it will reflect the quality of your work, achievement of objectives, your attitude among other issues, so I suggest you manage your emotions and emotionally detoxify yourself to maintain a positive attitude.
