For all, learning numbers is a common knowledge that is learned as a child, however, to make this learning fun and didactic, we give you the following tips so that your child can easily learn them.
There are many ways to facilitate learning for children, but above all, it must be ensured that it is natural and entertaining teaching, such as the following exercises:
1. Educational toys are ideal for younger children, such as telephones, which when pressing the buttons mention the number, as well as showing what the number is on the screen.
2. Another tip is to decorate your little one’s room with numbers, which you can make yourself out of cardboard or foam rubber.
3. For older children, you can use the memorama game, an easy and fun option to keep them entertained while learning the numbers.
4. The little plane to jump. It is about drawing an airplane on the ground with and in each box the numbers that the child will jump until they reach number 10 are drawn.
5. If you want your child to learn to write numbers on their own, you can have them write them with their finger on a pile of sand or on a blackboard. In this way, your child will begin to develop his psychomotor skills so that later he can write the numbers with a pencil.
6. Take advantage of any situation in which you can teach your child to make his own reasoning. For example, when setting the table, tell him to put three cutlery or three napkins, so he will understand the exact amounts of what you tell him.
7. Another exercise to learn numbers and count is to climb the stairs. Each step is a number or walks from one side of the room to the other by jumping 10 times.
8. Play shopping. Similarly, there is a wide variety of toys for you and your child to have fun while learning. For example, playing with the cash register while your child buys with the plastic coins. What is each product worth and how many coins does it have to pay you. You can complicate the game and use coins with different values: a coin with a 2 is worth two products, and so on.
