2021 is dying after giving us a huge number of fabulous video game releases, several of them we weren’t even expecting but which have all become essential. Thanks to history, we know that November can be the most intense month with the most important premieres, and for this year, things are looking really good. We warn you that it will be best to prepare your portfolio, since several of the most anticipated titles will finally be reaching the market. Tell us which of them is the one that excites you the most?
Call of Duty: Vanguard (Nov 5)
Yes, we know. Another Call of Duty. Despite the fact that in the eyes of many, the Activision franchise has been feeling extremely worn out for a long time and with nothing new to offer, the numbers tell us that the market is more than willing to keep buying it year after year, so this 2021 will not be the exception and a new title in the saga will be coming to our consoles and PC. Call of Duty: Vanguard returns to the battlefields of World War II with a single-player campaign that looks especially dramatic and quite realistic, a matter that could probably save the product so that many of us can return to the saga. We will have to see what happens once it is launched on November 5.
Forza Horizon 5 (Nov 9)
2021 has been a screaming year for Xbox first party development. After a generation to be forgotten with what was the One and a rather slow start of its new consoles, the Microsoft brand begins to find traction with much more constant releases and above all, of the quality that we are all waiting for. Forza Horizon 5 arrives on November 5 to ratify a franchise that has been virtually flawless, now to take us to the exotic Mexican landscapes and travel them at full speed in an immense selection of cars of all kinds. The work of Playground Games has never failed us and we are sure that for this fifth installment of its successful series, it will also be fulfilling a highly outstanding game in each of its sections.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition (Nov 11)
After weeks of rumors of all kinds, Rockstar Games finally came out to confirm that in effect, remastered versions of three of the most beloved Grand Theft Auto games will be releasing for current and past generation consoles, as well as for PC. That’s right, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is a reality and will be arriving on November 11 to allow us to enjoy again Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, this with a completely renewed look, as well as with substantial changes at the gameplay level that will try to make these classics feel a little more modern. Undoubtedly, one of the premieres of this year that will be giving more to talk about once they finally hit the market.
Shin Megami Tensei V (Nov 12)
A real success for the most intense lovers of the Japanese role. After a wait of several years, the new numerical installment of the main Atlus series will be arriving exclusively on the Nintendo Switch this November 12. Shin Megami Tensei V paints to become one of the most acclaimed games of this 2021 for what it can contribute to the JRPG, since it basically comes from one of the most iconic series that this important genre has. What has been shown so far leaves us reassured that its development has been an extremely healthy process and with a clear vision, so we are sure that when it is time to play it, we will all be extremely pleased.
Battlefield 2042 (Nov 19)
Unlike what Activision has done with Call of Duty, Electronic Arts has been much more cautious when competing with its Battlefield series, giving it much more space between each of its installments in an attempt not to wear it down so much. After having visited WWI and WWII, the DICE franchise returns to a modern setting to fully concentrate on its multiplayer mode, completely putting aside any single-player experience. Thanks to what has been shown with trailers and what we have been able to test in its beta phases, everything seems to indicate that Battlefield 2042 will be the type of game that its fans are waiting for. It only remains to cross your fingers so that this November 19 it finally hits the market, everything goes correctly with its servers.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (Nov 19)
As always when a new Pokémon product is announced, there is a great controversy among fans about what was waiting and what is being delivered. This 2021 is the turn for one of the generations that we saw in the days of the Nintendo DS, receive a visual remake and on other levels. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl will be landing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch this November 19 and the most certain thing is that as always, all those complaints that were given during its reveal a few months ago, will fly out the window when the games monopolize the first places in the sales charts. The truth is that things are looking pretty good and we can’t wait to visit the Sinnoh region again.
