The next month of June will reach a large part of the market PlayStation Plus renewalbeing so that this will be merged with PlayStation Now offering a total of three levels (Essential, Extra and Premium) so that its users have the option of accessing more content depending on the value and the price to pay for the service.
Under this same premise, it must be said that the Premium model is characterized by giving access to a range of PS1, PSP, PS2 and PS3 games, so these will have to be added to the system gradually so that they can be enjoyed by subscribers. And it seems that already we know five possible names of PS1 and PSP.
PS1 and PSP games start appearing on PlayStation Network
Recently it has been possible to see how some of the titles of the new PlayStation Plus have begun to appear on the PlayStation Netwrok servers, in such a way that of the 340 games from the previous consoles that will be available We already know five from the Reddit user known as the_andshrew, who has shared an image in which the following games can be identified:
- Mr Driller (PS1)
- Tekken 2 (PS1)
- Ridge Racers 2 (PSP)
- Worms Armageddon (PS1)
- Worms World Party (PS1)
These would join the list made up of Siphon Filter, Siphon Filter 2, Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Siphon Filter: Logan’s Shadowwhich received an age rating from South Korean agencies, which is usually indicative of an upcoming release.
For all these reasons, it seems that the new service is taking shape more and more, which promises to offer various incentives to players so that, in a certain way, despite not being strictly the same, it can compete with Xbox Game Pass, the Microsoft subscription service that is causing a stir.
Likewise, the service will have an Essential level, which will be the same as the PlayStation Plus that we currently know, while adding a level Bonus with access to PS4 and PS5 games and a Premium level that allows access to games from practically all previous consoles with the exception of PSVita. Of course, in the case of PS3, games will be played via streamingthis being a questionable decision that they could be remedying.
