Making a movie takes a lot of work. An entire team must give their best and work long hours to get our favorite movies into theaters, but even so, even with so many people involved in this work, sometimes mistakes happen that are overlooked and not they correct before the film or material to promote it, such as posters, is released.
Obviously, the posters involve a lot of editing work and despite all the care that the designers have, we have come to see some that surely did not go through a last revision, since they have very funny mistakes. But hey, at the end of the day, at least we can laugh for a few minutes.
1. Danger in Bangkok (2008)
Here the error is super obvious, since by the very unnatural position of Nicolas Cage’s hand, we know that they forgot to include an element in the poster, probably a gun. If you look closely, the proportions look a bit strange, as the original poster showed the actor with his arms crossed with a gun in each hand. For some reason they decided to change it, but they forgot to edit the hand that was left floating there.
two. Over my dead body (2008)
Well, for starters, it’s pretty obvious that they just glued Eva Longoria’s face onto some model’s body. random who, as if that were not enough, they edited to the fullest, to the extent that the skin looks exaggeratedly soft and gives a super false appearance, not to mention that they erased his knees.
3. High School Musical 2 (2007)
This is a bug that was fixed in later versions. If you look at Vanessa Hudgens’ arm, you’ll see that it looks like she’s growing an extra hand, as the designers forgot to erase the hand of the actress next to her.
Four. chef at home (2014)
This case is pretty self explanatory, but there you go. Aside from it being extremely obvious that they simply glued the actors’ faces onto the bodies of the chefs, they didn’t even care to make the heads life-size (check out Sofia Vergara or Emjay Anthony – the middle child). ) or matching skin tones (see Scarlett Johansson). We know that anyone makes mistakes and designers’ work is not easy, but in this case they did go overboard.
5. tomb Raider (2018)
This poster, at first glance, there is nothing wrong with it. But when we look closely at Alicia Vikander’s neck, the Photoshop error becomes more than obvious, since nobody has a neck that long and poor Lara Croft ended up looking like a brontosaurus.
6. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010)
Look at Harry’s head and tell us if he’s inside or outside the train. From the perspective and the doors that are about to close, one would think that he is inside, but the top of his head does not agree with this and leaves us very confused.
7. 300 (2007)
Nothing better than a good action movie in which Spartan kings and warriors face each other. But even the great warriors are not saved from Photoshop and although we might believe that Gerard Butler’s abdomen received a little touch-up, what really stands out in the poster is the sword, which seems to be upright and floating by magic, since Gerard isn’t holding her. Look at his hand!
8. Sex and the City 2 (2010)
While this mistake isn’t as terrible as others we’ve seen on this list, we’re sure no one has the elbow like Kim Cattrall in this poster. The more we see it, the stranger it seems to us.
9. The arrival (2016)
This error is very different from the others on this list and was due, more than anything, to ignorance and carelessness. This poster is supposed to show us the city of Hong Kong, to illustrate that the strange alien ships reached various parts of the world. However, the pointed tower you see on the bottom right is called the Oriental Pearl Tower and it is located in Shanghai. Those responsible for the film apologized and fixed the poster, but it was an embarrassing moment.
10. Spider-Man 2 (2004)
It hurts to realize that that iconic poster has such a strange mistake. The way they’re arranged, Kirsten Dunst shouldn’t be able to hug Tobey Maguire like that, unless she has exaggeratedly long arms.
